Healing Hearts

A friend of mine started this project and I think that it is a great program. I feel that it's a wonderful way to help people that have been emotionally scarred by some sort of violence.  National statistics show, that one in four women (25%) has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime. So you walk around in a day and count off every 4th woman, young or old, that you pass by that she probably is one of our four.
A little about the program:
San Diego based photographer, Lori Brookes is sending out a worldwide call, for heart photo submissions, to anyone with a camera who desires to be part of the “Gathering Hearts” photography mosaic. While helping to heal human hearts of past and present wounds, both big and small, she is promoting a more peaceful way to be and live in the world with each other. The idea and purpose of making this an inclusive project is the great ripple effect and power of the shared consciousness of a like-minded global community.
